“Hi, I'm Heather Farquharson and I'm one of the heirs to the chieftainship of the Clan Farquharson. I'm 13 and have been going to Scotland annually for as long as I can remember. I am the eldest daughter of the current Chief and am also Captain Alwyne Farquharson's great, great step niece. One day, I hope to achieve as many great things in my life as he did. Of course, it will be a challenge to accomplish such a feat but, in the spirit of the Farquharson slogan 'Fide et Fortitudine', I, as much as anyone else, can do it. As the first Youth Ambassador for the Clan Society, I look forward to getting the younger generation excited about Clan Farquharson too!"
